In October 2019, just a few weeks after taking in tiger cubs Kel and Leon, we got a second call from their previous owners asking if we could take in two more babies. They were supposed to go somewhere else and it had not worked out. So now, our two became four with the addition of Kona and Idris. We believe they are all siblings, but we are not 100% sure.

Kona is smaller than the other two boys. He can be sweet, but he also has a very naughty side!

One thing developed as Kona grew, he became severely cross-eyed. It wasn't apparent at first, but became more an more obvious as he got older. It impacts his ability to see quite a bit. We always keep a close eye on him to see how this impacts his quality of life, and his relationship with his siblings. Often, when a tiger cannot see very well, they get scared easily which can result in aggressive behavior. So far, that has not been a problem and we hope it stays that way.
